Both hoops on the rack tom have cracks but tune with ease and hold tension.Īgain, this is a nice project or player set for someone that is looking to recapture that vintage Slingerland sound. The rack tom and the floor tom each have an additional hole that has been filled with a rounded bolt and nut which are also pictured. More than likely, the rail consolette and cymbal arm were moved, removed, and put back in their original position. This putty also appears on the top of the bass drum. The previous owner attempted to fill in the holes with what appears to be putty. The split is located on the batter side of the bass drum which is shown in the included photos.Īll of the parts appear to be original, and the chrome is in overall good condition. The seams are tight on the drums, bass drum hoops, but we noticed one spot where the wrap has split during our inspection. The Marine Pearl finish has yellowed slightly but appears to be even. Produced in the 1960s, the toms have natural mahogany interiors and the original calf-skin resonant heads. It is here on consignment and is a great player or project set. This is a Slingerland 1960s-era drum set with a 14x22, 9x13, and 16x16 configuration.
